Your New Role...
House of Highlights is a key part of the Bleacher Report/Turner Sports portfolio, representing one of the most influential media brands for the Gen-Z audience. With over 100 Million followers, HoH is the heartbeat of the Gen Z sports fan, who gravitate to the brand because of its authentic voice which remains celebratory, relatable and inclusive. Everything HoH does -- from the original content we create, to our collaborations with leagues, creators and brands, to the viral clips we curate from across the world -- aligns with these 3 core brand pillars, and it has created a connection with fans that feels more like a close friend than an inaccessible brand or publisher.
House of Highlights is the heartbeat of Gen-Z sports culture, and our next Sales Programming Coordinator must live at that intersection where social media, campaign management and creator communities collide.
You should be just as comfortable responding to RFPs as you are building and coordinating social campaigns. Sitting between Sales and Programming, you'll speak both languages fluently: pitching thumb-stopping concepts to advertisers while ensuring every deliverable looks, feels, and performs like native HoH content.
Role Accountabilities...
- RFP & Pitch Support
- Maintain a sharp understanding of HoH franchises, ad products, and quarterly priorities for rapid, platform-first RFP responses.
- Intake, evaluate, and package creative concepts that fit HoH inventory, tone, and production capabilities.
- Understand timelines, deliverables, and pricing for sold inventory.
- Lead Airtable Management
- Own the master Airtable tracker: input milestones, handle tagging, update statuses
- Drive weekly stand-ups; ensure everyone can see what's next, and who's on point.
- Outlining, Editing & Publishing
- Build and distribute posting schedules across all HoH handles; confirm copy, hashtags, legal, and brand-safety approvals before go-live.
- Oversee outlining of scheduled content.
- Coordinate asset design with internal and external editors; give clear social-first creative notes
- Track version control and delivery deadlines.
- Ensure content runs accurately, and on time.
- Content & Strategy Development
- Identify packaging gaps and propose new sponsor-ready formats grounded in organic HoH performance.
- Audit live campaigns for freshness and recommend mid-flight optimizations
- Continually mine social feeds for breakout creators and communities; share weekly opportunity spotlights with Sales leadership.
- Culture & Trend Monitoring
- Track algorithm changes, new creator tools, and pop-culture moments; brief cross-functional teams on how they unlock monetizable content.
Qualifications & Experience...
- A positive, team-first attitude with "how can I help?" energy.
- Clear, concise communicator who aligns cross-functional teams and keeps stakeholders in the loop-especially when timelines tighten.
- Calm, solution-oriented presence in high-stakes, real-time social moments.
- 1-3 years in sales operations, integrated marketing, or project management for a digital/social publisher, agency, or sports/media brand.
- Proven hands-on experience programming branded or editorial social accounts (TikTok, IG Reels, YT Shorts.)
- Strong command of Airtable (or similar PM tools.)
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects without dropping details or deadlines.
- Keen editorial eye for UG. Able to judge clip quality, ownership, and brand safety in seconds.
- Deep understanding of HoH tone, creator ecosystem, and Gen-Z social language; in-depth knowledge of NBA, NFL, WNBA, or creator economy is a plus.
- Flexibility to jump on late-night, weekend, or holiday
How We Get Things Done...
This last bit is probably the most important! Here at WBD, our guiding principles are the core values by which we operate and are central to how we get things done. You can find them at www.wbd.com/guiding-principles/ along with some insights from the team on what they mean and how they show up in their day to day. We hope they resonate with you and look forward to discussing them during your interview.
