The Job
The Post-Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinate all post-production processes for shows produced in Mexico, ensuring that each delivery meets the schedule and the highest technical and creative standards established by the company.
This role requires a comprehensive view of all ongoing projects, handling online editing. Key responsibilities include the efficient management of human and technical resources, such as room scheduling, operator assignments, and equipment allocation.
Additionally, the coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the internal post-production team, executive production, and external vendors, facilitating communication and problem-solving. Their deep understanding of high-end workflows, from media ingest to mastering, enables them to ensure operational continuity and quality at every stage of the process.
The Daily - Major Activities
- 40% Coordinate post-production materials assigned to each editorial team member, ensuring efficient delivery timelines across all involved departments.
- 25% Liaise with producers, editors, colorists, audio post-producers, and finishers to maintain operational continuity.
- 20% Manage post-production resources (suites, equipment, technical staff), ensuring their strategic and effective use.
- 10% Review and verify the technical specifications of incoming materials.
- 5% Generate executive reports on project status, resource usage, and KPI compliance.
The Essentials
- Solid experience in post-production coordination or similar roles.
- Advanced knowledge of post-production workflows in broadcast and streaming environments, including 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos.
- Intermediate proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and Pro Tools.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive, structured, and reliable profile with leadership and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to constant changes in a fast-paced production environment.
The Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with software such as Baselight, Avid Media Composer, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut X, and Pro Tools.
- Experience in offline editing.
