We are looking for a hands-on, results-oriented Senior Manager, Product to join our International Product Management team. You will contribute to drive a team and products within the Digital Fulfillment Last Mile Transportation space and create world-class omni-channel experience for our customers, enabling them to save money and time so they can live better.

About Last Mile Product Management Team:

  • Within the eCommerce domain, Last Mile is defined as the final leg of the order's journey, in which the merchandize is delivered to the customer.
  • As a cost component, "Last Mile" domain can singlehandedly account for majority (up to 40%) of the end-to-end shipping costs borne by retailers.
  • Considering the cost sensitivity, and the keen interest to offer best customer experience, this domain has seen exponential technical innovation involving Crowdsourcing and use of Machine Learning, robotic, drones, etc.

Duties:

  • Drive the Platform Operations and Resiliency product strategy and roadmap for Last Mile initiatives for Walmart International customers that boost Retention and NPS.
  • Work with Engineering and Operations teams to improve and develop core platform features, monitor, and manage key API's, manage vendor integrations, and more.
  • Responsible for managing, supporting, and developing large-scale underlying technologies such as Infrastructure, data, and development services.
  • Define, analyze, and communicate platform product roadmap aligned with business objectives and supported by business cases, market research, customer data, and competitive analysis.
  • Drive the roadmap for Operational services transformation including Incident management, Change Management, Resilience/Chaos Testing, Vendor integration services.
  • Promote and create developer and customer loyalty through highly innovative, quality driven product strategies and feature sets.
  • Gather developer and other stakeholder feedback to validate that the product works against stated metrics.
  • Work with our developer/engineering community to understand consumption/adoption issues and turn those insights into backlog items.
  • Lead the strategy, concept, feature, and functionality definition, development, and launch of platform operations products both in-house and with strategic partners.
  • Become an expert on Last Mile Platform and how Last Mile product suite integrates across all platforms.
  • Formulate business cases and roadmaps for new platform features and services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate and document the product requirements.
  • Research on trends and patterns in market.
  • Work with UX Designers to ensure delivery of optimal user experiences driving high adoption.
  • Work with Program Managers and Engineering to support vision and deliver against plan and targets.
  • Prepare and implement go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful launch execution and adoption.
  • Manage products through their life cycle-introduction, growth, maturity and ending stages.
  • Make data/ROI-driven decisions.
  • Own the results and KPIs.

Minimum education and experience required:

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related field and 5 years of experience in product management, business consulting, or related field; OR Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related field and 1 year of experience in product management, business consulting, or related field.

Skills required:

  • Product experience driving product vision and roadmap with a history of leading teams to deploy innovative solutions that deliver measurable results at scale.
  • Experience in "Supply Chain"/ "eCommerce"/ "Retail" domain and/or technologies would be given preference.
  • Experience creating product roadmaps, creating value-based release strategies, scope slicing, and breaking down complex products into prioritized backlogs for engineering teams in JIRA and Rally.
  • Experience building products using Agile Methodology Methodologies: Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience taking products from ideation, piloting the products using multivariate testing and A/B testing, and leading full-scale launches and rollouts of the products.
  • Experience driving process changes and change management by ensuring critical business issues and core product strategies are addressed in product decisions.
  • Experience using the following analytics and reporting tools: Google Analytics, Tableau, SQL, Splunk, and R Studio.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

- Stock equity incentives
