Senior Manager, Brand Management - Kids

Walmart is looking for a strategic, innovative, and highly adaptable team member with a fantastic eye for product who will help drive our exclusive fashion brands to the next level. This position is responsible for guiding and reinforcing the brand's vision across all sales channels with a strong grasp on trend, historical and real-time selling data and market intelligence. A fusionist role, this position works cross functionally with internal and external partners to expand brand reach and support growth opportunities that deliver on the customer promise and department strategy.

  • Own continuity of brand position and ensure consistency from development to customer-facing.
  • Act as ambassador of our customer, by interfacing regularly with design partners to develop and refine balanced, brandright assortments in line with retail pricing and grow/maintain/decline strategies.
  • Analyze selling and trends and liaise with merchants to determine product maximization opportunities and white space.
  • Curate initial assortments and present to merchants; present finalized to apparel leadership
  • Support Brand Lead in conducting regular analysis of brand(s), department, and total market segment performance; building on brand's point of view and identifying and capitalizing on product and growth opportunities.
  • Deliver incremental sales growth by supporting Brand Lead on strategic brand expansion and brand-building awareness initiatives (ex. collaborations).
  • Build brand cohesion by collaborating with marketing, site operations, and creative/editorial teams to support customer facing branded experiences.
  • Manage relationships and communicate project information to all stakeholders at a level appropriate to their needs and proactively keep team members on deadlines in an effective but collaborative way.

Travel

Traveling is necessary to perform one or more essential functions of this position. Travels internationally to and from multiple facilities or work-sites requiring extended overnight stays

Entry Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Product Development, Design, or related field
• 5+ years' experience in fashion product merchandising, buying, product development, project management, design, brand management, marketing, or related area.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years' experience in fashion apparel merchandising and product development for a vertical omnichannel fashion retailer
• Advanced Excel experience, including SQL
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite tools
• Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software
• Knowledge and understanding of apparel production/manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of project management principles, methods, and technique

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
