What you'll do...

As part of the Global Technology Platform Program Management organization, this role will be a crucial enabler of our Platform Infrastructure/Edge services technology modernization. This leader will own the execution of strategic initiatives to accelerate the modernization of our edge Infrastructure services and technology. You will work collaboratively with product management, business and engineering teams to ensure on time delivery with quality results.

You'll sweep us off our feet if:

  • You have hands-on experience in leading technical program management building infrastructure services - Building Compute (physical/ cloud/ VM's), Database, Network, Storage etc.
  • You have strong experience working as technical program management leader building high performing team of TPM's and hands-on past experience of working as technical program manager
  • You think and act strategically; you create strategies for own organization that align with the company's strategies and lead to the achievement of business priorities
  • You make sound judgments by using objective financial and business analyses to evaluate the returns and risks of business choices
  • You optimize execution and results, by using the advantage of company size, internal and external resources, and talent to achieve success.
  • You have a healthy balance of business and technical acumen and can apply these in real-world activities
  • You inspire commitment by developing and communicating logical, convincing justifications, including lessons learned

You'll make an impact by:

  • Driving execution of business initiatives - work with product management and engineering teams to define key milestones for business initiatives and drive the execution to complete all deliverables in time
  • Developing infrastructure services - drive cross functional teams on developing infrastructure services that fulfill customers' needs
  • Modernizing enterprise technology stack - understand the technology gaps and drive migration from legacy platform to next-gen platform
  • Building strategic relationships - manage numerous stakeholders, anticipate their needs, and gain alignment for strategies from executive level stakeholders
  • Articulating program success - present program success to executives with strong communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as well as the ability to influence key decision makers and understand their points of view
  • Developing program management practice - influence program management organization with well-defined processes and best practice to improve the efficiency in program execution.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong technical backgrounds ideally building highly scalable platforms, products, or services with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery life cycle.
  • Understanding and background of Infrastructure technologies which includes on-premises as well as Cloud technologies (Openstack, Azure, GCP etc).
  • Sound knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices including background in Agile methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and engage cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale technology portfolios.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Deep focus on execution, follow-through, accountability, and results.
  • Excellent problem solving and influencing skills.
  • Experience as a TPM leader to grow and develop a team of TPMs, while also building the foundations for the TPM practice.
  • Ability to simplify the technically complex and drive well-educated decisions across product & engineering representatives.
  • Exceptional cross-team collaboration; able to work across different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to get the job done.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Building high performing team of technical program managers
  • Deliver highly visible, high-impact programs and coach your team of experienced and skilled program managers
  • Drive and influence technical and product strategy, proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies, align on priorities, and set direction for a broadly cross-functional area.
  • Provide Technical Program management leadership in execution of technical programs across Infra/Edge technology platform.
  • Articulate the technology, requirements, goals, and milestones of your team.
  • Ongoing communication of planning, project status, issues, and risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders.
  • Establish shared goals to build alignment across multiple cross-functional Product and Tech teams
  • Providing supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties and by building a team-based work environment
  • Reinforce customer empathy, build long term strategies and value-driven roadmaps, establish feedback and learning loops, and measure outcomes
  • Positively impact our Program Team and you will help achieve greater outcomes, build deeper partnership, and do so with excitement and enthusiasm
  • Demonstrate a passion for details with the ability to ideate and problem solve actively with business leaders, product, and engineering stakeholders

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or business administration with equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical program/product management experience.
  • Experience driving and delivering complex tech programs or products from inception to delivery.
  • 5+ years of experience with Project management and Agile delivery.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering large and complex programs - where you own the business or technical vision, collaborate with large cross-functional teams, secure commitments on deliverables, and unblock teams to land business impact.
  • 5+ years of team leadership experience and cross-functional influence
  • People Management experience & Cross-functional Program Management experience working among several groups.
  • Problem-solving and organizational experience and experience operating autonomously across multiple teams.
  • Capable of managing numerous stakeholders, anticipating their needs, and gaining alignment for strategies from executive level stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as well as the ability to influence key decision makers and understand their points of view
  • Strong leadership, negotiation and execution skills with the ability to drive results, deliver and excel, and own it when you don't
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, growing environment and work well with ambiguity
  • Comfortable presenting to and persuading at Executive leadership levels

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
