Job Description
Collaborate with team members to clarify, document, and develop technical requirements for Billing and Revenue systems that support financial operations
Assist in implementing solutions following established best practices and guidelines
Provide scope and scale of effort to deliver technical solutions

Develop simple user interfaces, backend services, or end-to-end features based on clear specifications
Collaborate with upstream/downstream systems and technology leads to implement solutions that meet business needs
Resolve bugs and ensure that preventative measures are identified and implemented in a timely manner
Follow coding standards, accessibility, security, and compliance requirements as instructed and compliant with Visa security standards
Provide technical guidance to team members to drive test automation for batch process and UI regression test
Actively participate in regular scrum ceremonies, code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing
Present ideas and solutions to key stakeholders and leads as needed
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, and proactively seek feedback and learning opportunities to grow technical and specialty skills
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in a Computer Science or Engineering discipline
- 1-2 years of experience in system and software design, architecture, and development of large-scale applications
- Strong foundational knowledge of software engineering principles and the software development lifecycle
- Hands on experience with Java / J2EE, SQL / NoSQL DB, Linux, and JavaScript
- Experience with web services standards and related technologies (HTTP/S, Spring, XML, JSON, REST, Angular)
- Strong knowledge of source code version control and hands on experience with Git/Bitbucket
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipeline implementation using tools such as Jenkins
- Expertise in JUnit or other test automation frameworks like Selenium
- Expertise with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and project/requirements management tools like JIRA, Riley, TFS
- Experience with using and/or implementing GenAI tools to increase productivity
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Awareness of coding standards, accessibility, security, and compliance requirements
- Ability to implement simple user interfaces and/or backend services following clear instructions
- Basic troubleshooting and debugging skills for identifying and resolving straightforward issues
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members and documenting work
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt to new technologies, tools, and processes
