Job Description

The Organizational Change Manager will play a key role in ensuring change initiatives—particularly those involving Generative AI and emerging technologies—meet business objectives by increasing employee adoption and usage. This role focuses on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technologies. The ideal candidate will apply a structured change management approach to drive faster adoption, higher utilization, and greater proficiency across Visa’s workforce, while minimizing resistance and maximizing employee engagement.

Essential Functions:

  • Design, develop, and execute organizational change management strategies and plans to support GenAI and digital transformation initiatives
  • Create and deliver communication strategies and materials to build awareness and drive adoption of new tools and processes
  • Conduct impact analyses, change readiness assessments, and stakeholder analyses
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness across impacted teams and functions
  • Provide input into training strategy and support the design and delivery of end-user training
  • Define and track success metrics to monitor change adoption and effectiveness
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate change-related risks and resistance
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Translate complex GenAI capabilities into clear, actionable impacts for employees and business units
  • Coach and consult with project teams and senior leaders to support change adoption
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to align change efforts
  • Integrate change management activities into overall project and program plans
  • Track and report on change-related issues, risks, and action items
  • Collaborate with global, virtual teams across time zones and cultures
  • Represent the Digital Enablement Solutions team as a strong advocate for the employee experience
  • Act as a change agent, championing a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in organizational change management
  • Experience leading or supporting change initiatives within project or program environments
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR), certification is a plus


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of change management principles, tools, and best practices
  • Experience supporting technology-driven change, especially involving emerging technologies like Generative AI
  • Familiarity with AIML concepts, particularly Generative AI, and their implications for business transformation
  • Ability to translate technical GenAI capabilities into business value and user impact
  • Understanding of AI governance, ethics, and responsible AI practices is a plus
  • Experience collaborating with data science, engineering, or product teams to support AI tool adoption
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills to help stakeholders understand and embrace GenAI-driven change
  • Ability to manage resistance and build trust in environments where AI may disrupt traditional roles or workflows
  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration, common in GenAI innovation environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to shifting demands
  • Proven ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams
  • Collaborative, flexible, and adaptable to fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with user experience and design thinking principles is a plus

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 119,100.00 to 172,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
