Job Description
As an Account Executive focused on Fintechs in LEVANT (JOR, PAL, LEB, IRQ, &YMN), you will be responsible for driving sales, retaining payment volume, and growing revenue across a portfolio of issuing financial institutions and fintech partners. By building trusted relationships, offering innovative solutions, and delivering value through Visa’s ecosystem, you will play a key role in strengthening our brand and expanding our market presence in the LEVANT fintech landscape.
This is a strategic, hands-on role ideal for someone with strong commercial acumen, deep knowledge of the payments industry, and a passion for enabling digital transformation in financial services.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Growth:
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to grow Visa’s business with assigned fintech and issuing clients in LEVANT markets, ensuring mutual success and long-term value.
- Deliver Value:
Craft compelling propositions across Visa’s full suite of products and services. Understand client needs and recommend tailored solutions that drive business impact.
- Build Relationships:
Cultivate strong, multi-level relationships across client organizations—including senior executives and operational teams—to identify opportunities and address challenges early.

Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, Consulting, etc.) to deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions that meet client objectives.
- Lead Commercial Execution:
Negotiate, implement, and manage commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with Visa’s strategic goals and compliance standards.
- Stay Ahead:
Maintain a deep understanding of the payments and fintech landscape in LEVANT, continuously enhancing your knowledge of Visa’s offerings and market trends.
- Engage with Purpose:
Actively contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture—sharing insights, celebrating wins, and driving innovation with energy and enthusiasm.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in payments, banking or fintech with a bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Previous Sales / Business Development / Relationship Management experience, with a proven track record of forming and rapidly growing client partnerships.
- Strong understanding of payment networks, processes, and ecosystem participants. Knowledge of the LEVANT payment market, regulation and market landscape is a distinct advantage.
- Ability to understand client priorities and needs, quickly identify opportunities and propose solutions from all areas of the Visa offering.
- Numerate with a good commercial acumen, the ability to identify opportunities and propose solutions through business case development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise with and influence stakeholders at all levels of seniority. Take complexity and simplify it for understanding of all.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
