Job Description
Reporting to the Head of PMO Payment Platform Technology, this position will provide Visa 2030 strategic initiative Program Management leadership for the Payment Platform Technology organization. This group has a significant impact on Visa’s platform capabilities, and future revenue streams. The responsibilities will holistically encompass working across all business and technical units within Visa to drive overall program success in a shared services delivery model. Comprehensive day-to-day agile transformation, coaching, mentoring, change management and leadership of special technology programs will be required.
The responsibilities will include but are not limited to portfolio oversight, budget management, process championship, and managing global strategic initiatives to deliver on the Visa strategy, collaborating effectively with a global team of POs, Tech Leads, Operations, PMO and Support for Executive program reporting, Roadmap establishment, Program Planning, Budgeting, Resource management, Capacity Modeling, AI Process improvements, comprehensive release planning, reporting, tracking success metrics, agile transformation championing, and team motivation. This position will work closely with key leaders across Technology teams, with all levels of management within the organization. This role will include ensuring leadership principles are embraced and agile best practices are being leveraged across the program, and project scrum lifecycle. A strong candidate will have a solid experience in people influence, change management, technology & product program management, x-functional team leadership, technology operations, as well as superb skills in communications, business analysis, problem-solving, cross-team coordination, communications, agile best practices, team building, processes, and change management. The ideal candidate is not just a manager, facilitator or project plan tracker but ensures things get done in the right way and the teams are healthy, engaged, and motivated. The ideal candidate must have a humane and “make it happen” attitude, while influencing positive change. Requires excellent skills in agile tools, presentation aptitude, and analytics. This position requires collaboration globally especially Singapore, Austin, Bangalore, Foster City, Europe, hence this person should have some flexibility to work late night/early hours as required.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
• 1-3 years in past matrixed people management experience.
• Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related discipline OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related discipline. Eight (8) years of overall work experience, and five (5) years specialized experience in project or program management.
Preferred Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Bachelors or Master’s degree with a STEM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) or equivalent.
• Agile coaching skills and transformation experience
• Expertise in program / portfolio management with financial and budget management experience in a product delivery environment.
• Exceptional knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Lean principles and practices
• Excellent ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of product development.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC principles and practices.
• Direct management of project / program managers and experience with coaching for success
• Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills in a global environment with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills for effective communication with multiple organizational levels.
• Strong leadership, enthusiasm, and accountability with high attention to detail and quality for all work products.
• Entrepreneurial and flexible, strategic thinker who can balance strategy with detailed, flawless execution.
• Expert in the use of program and agile process management tools.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Change Agent Certification is strongly preferred. PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Scaled Agile Framework Program Consultant (SAFe SPC), Certified Stanford Advanced Senior Program Manager (SAPM), and/or Lean Six Sigma certifications also preferred. Certifications must be current and in good standing.
• Financial services and payments network experience is a plus. Knowledge of Visa's financial practices and technology processes is a plus but not required.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 178,400.00 to 258,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
