Job Description

Visa is looking for a Financial Analyst to join the Visa Global Operating Certificate team in Mexico City. The Operating Certificates are reports filed by financial institutions on a quarterly/monthly basis. Visa uses the reports to assess Quarterly Service Fees and perform other industry metric analysis.  The Operating Certificate team is responsible for assisting and training clients with the quarterly/monthly filing, analyzing submitted data, and resolving reporting errors. In addition, the team is responsible for billing process to assess quarterly/monthly service fees.

This position requires the ability to learn quickly, work independently, address problems expertly in a fast-paced environment and you will be required to work effectively with both external and internal clients.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

 Basic Qualifications

2 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 0 years of relevant work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD/PhD)

 Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Analyze large amounts of data and present conclusions and observations to management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational and project-management skills: plan, organize, and adapt within a multi-tasking environment.
- Meet deadlines within a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills: collaboratively contribute new ideas and solutions to address business challenges
- Proficient user of MS Word, Power Point and Excel
- Payment-industry experience is a plus
- Fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a Plus
