Job Description
- Plan, coordinate and conduct assessment / evaluation of the efficiency of Acquirer controls to onboard and supervise merchants covered under the Integrity Risk Program of VISA. The evaluation could be conducted based on the desktop review or onsite audit of Self-Assessment Questionnaires, Acquirer Policies and Procedures and sample Merchant demonstrating various external diligence information, payment fraud performance, etc.
- Mentor multiple teams through the development lifecycle using Agile, Scrum, and Lean practices and work multi-functionally throughout.
- Identify, engage and remediate the Acquirers processing high integrity risk transactions without prior approval of Visa.
- Own and lead Visa efforts to mitigate risk posed by the Acquirers exceeding stated risk tolerance of Visa with a potential threat to Visa reputation, coordinating with multi-functional partners including the Business teams such as Merchant Sales & Acceptance (MS&A) and Account Executives.
- Collaborate with the Global Visa Program Management Office to perform periodic industry reviews of high-risk activities and recommend program changes to ensure continuous program efficiency.
- Engage and update Senior Leadership in Business and Risk with progress achieved in mitigating the illegal merchant activity while supporting growth of legitimate ecommerce business.
- Review and recommend proposed global changes to policies and programs, incorporating requirements of the region and recommending appropriate decisions.
- As a site-lead, provide mentorship and support to the wider Risk team in Bangalore office.
- Identify and drive process simplification and automation.

We are looking for a technically astute individual who possesses a bias for action is curious about the world of payments and customer focused. Our ideal candidate will:
- 12-15 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or at least 10 years of significant experience with an advanced degree or equivalent (example - Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Strong experience of handling merchant acquiring, underwriting and fraud monitoring.
- Outstanding data analysis and problem-solving skills with validated intellectual and analytical difficulty. Ability to summarize raw data to tell a simple story supported by data to management and partners.
- Strong executive presence and experience in presenting and addressing clients
- Proven track record to communicate sophisticated issues in a clear, concise, and impactful manner – turning research and raw data into compelling stories and useful strategic insights to a variety of partners.
- Premier hard-working professional with a vision and passion to continuously raise the benchmark for self and the team.
- Strong attention to detail and achieving results, with an emphasis on how work is being accomplished.
