Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the assigned revenue targets.
  • Account management of key clients.
  • Identify and size the opportunity for value propositions that leverage core product capabilities including: Tokenization, Click to Pay, Tap2Phone, Visa Direct, Visa Acceptance Solutions and many more.
  • Identify and prioritize clients, third parties and segments for acceptance expansion by assessing revenue opportunity and strategic importance.
  • Conduct cross-functional due diligence efforts with prospective partners, including financial, product, technical & systems assessment.
  • Drive revenue generating outcomes: 
    • Consultatively identifying and understanding client business needs and crafting customized solutions that grow the business and increase satisfaction with Visa products and services.
    • Launch pilots of new and existing propositions to test new concepts and use these as a foundation for commercial launches and to showcase Visa capabilities.
    • Responsible to build a deal pipeline to generate net new services revenues.
  • Contribute to the development of a solution sales strategy, the execution thereof including the development of relationships in untapped, emerging, and non-traditional industries.
  • Establish a solution-based sales approach understanding the customers or a market challenge that we are trying to solve for.
  • Contribute to the development of Visa’s enabler initiatives with the specific focus to support new business areas.
  • Lead research projects to collate data from multiple sources to inform acceptance strategy and turn data into insights.
  • Provide thought Leadership and build trusted relationships, internally and externally. Lead and support external discussions around acceptance solutions.
  • Develop scalable acceptance solutions for Visa clients.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Visa Acceptance Platform, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Merchants and Acquirers, Product, etc.) to execute and drive sales opportunities.
  • Work with external and internal partners to develop localized value propositions based on Visa’s existing suite of products, APIs and data analytics.
  • Understand and enhance deal commercials to align investment and target the right opportunities.

 

Qualifications

  •  Substantial business experience as well as experience managing strategic relationships with financial services and technology solution providers.
  • Experience in cards and payments industries, specifically with a track record in developing client relationships and sales partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with a partner’s executives to present Visa’s strategic vision and negotiate effectively on behalf of the company.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across functions and geographies in a complex matrix environment.
  • Be open minded and excited about the future technologies, willing to learn and work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships ensuring uptake and delivery of Visa solutions.
  • Effective influencing and communication skills to secure buy-in from clients and stakeholders .
  • Highly skilled communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Educated to degree level or hold equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluency in German and English.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
- relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

-Driving new acceptance is a key pillar in Visa growth strategy.
-The ideal candidate will bring passion for and interest in payments and as well as client-facing skills.
-He/she will enjoy working collaboratively across functions and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
-The role of  Acceptance Development Manager is to increase Visa acceptance across the Central Europe region, which includes Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Netherlands. Potential verticals to work on in this role include, but are not limited to, Mobility, which includes EV Charging, Transit and In Car Payments.
-Key to this role is to execute the regional strategy driving the digital roadmap and focus on new payment flows, new verticals and services revenue generation.
