Project Coordinator, New Business at VaynerCommerce

VaynerCommerce is an end-to-end digital commerce strategy and implementation partner with a mission to create enduring commerce brands. VaynerCommerce was born from the frustration that brands were left with no viable options in the market when it came to building sustainable online customer growth.

VaynerCommerce has assembled a team of DTC and omnichannel experts to design, develop, and scale the future of eCommerce.  We work across Fortune 100, venture capital, and private equity-backed consumer brands to build enduring direct- to-consumer businesses - and partner at every stage of the life cycle, from ideation to incubation to commercial scale. To achieve client goals, we focus on providing five core capabilities: media, design, product, creative and growth.

What You’ll Do

As a Project Coordinator, New Business at VaynerCommerce, you’ll be more than an organizer - you’ll be a strategic force behind our growth. In this hybrid role (roughly 60% project coordination, 40% executive support), you’ll help drive the engine behind new client opportunities and empower our co-presidents to operate at their highest level. From shaping first impressions with potential partners to keeping key commercial initiatives on track, your work will directly influence how we pitch, win and deliver. This is a unique opportunity to gain high-level exposure, build foundational skills across teams, and make a real impact at a fast-moving, future-facing company.

The Task at Hand:

Project Coordinator for New Business (60%)

  • Facilitate and support full-funnel growth audits, a foundational step in our new business process where we gain access to a potential client’s data, platforms, and systems to take a comprehensive look under the hood. You’ll help coordinate this deep-dive analysis by gathering access, aligning stakeholders, and organizing information into a client-ready presentation. The insights uncovered during these audits inform tailored, high-impact recommendations that often serve as the launchpad for long-term partnerships.
  • Help accelerate new business wins by managing timelines, building decks, facilitating legal paperwork such as NDAs, coordinating deliverables, and maintaining team alignment
  • Support key revenue initiatives and help power the sales pipeline through thoughtful planning and execution
  • Nurture important prospective client relationships by ensuring timely follow ups, clear communication and consistent engagement
  • Identify and surface growth opportunities through exposure to early-stage client conversations and deal flow
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings across internal and external stakeholders
  • Take detailed notes during key meetings and ensure information is clearly documented and actioned
  • Maintain and update Salesforce records to ensure accuracy of leads, opportunities, and client touchpoints
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to keep new business initiatives moving smoothly

Executive Support (40%)

  • Serve as an executive assistant to the Co-Presidents of VaynerCommerce
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and ensure time is optimized for priority initiatives
  • Monitor and help manage professional communications, including email inboxes and LinkedIn accounts
  • Assist with travel planning, meeting prep, and day-to-day administrative support
  • Act as a gatekeeper and liaison to internal and external contacts

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for someone who is just starting out in their career but has the mindset and potential of a seasoned project manager. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are a natural organizer, and find satisfaction in making things run smoothly behind the scenes.

You might be a fit if you:

  • Are extremely organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Are able to manage multiple tasks and priorities with grace and urgency
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity and quick to ask the right questions
  • Are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
  • Are tech-savvy and able to quickly pick up tools like Google Workspace, Slack, ClickUp and Salesforce
  • Embody a “no task too small” mindset and take pride in supporting a team

Unsure if you meet the qualifications? We are always looking for talent which will continue to cultivate an inclusive and representative team that will enhance our perspectives, skill sets, background, and behaviors.  We encourage those who are passionate about what we do to apply!
