As a Business Development Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end tracking of the sales process in one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing verticals at US Mobile. We're focused on creating and cultivating relationships with business clients all over the country, demonstrating US Mobile's value to potential business clients, and broadening our reach in the marketplace.

You will work closely with the growth team to assess market opportunities and competitive trends, and develop acquisition strategies to attract and onboard new accounts. You will manage the B2B business development lifecycle from sourcing to transactability, ensuring our new business customers are fully equipped for immediate success.

This is a multifaceted role, requiring the ability to establish senior level relationships with businesses of all sizes. You will be responsible for execution of agreements and own the negotiation of these relationships end-to-end. You will be expected to support the Logistics team's management of the day-to-day relationships with partners, while continuing to identify new channels and partners.

In this position you will:
  • Manage a sales pipeline: Prospect and manage a pipeline of high-value, strategic accounts across key industries. Develop creative solutions to identify new prospects and build a strong pipeline.
  • Execute a high volume of cold and warm outreach to a broad list of target sellers
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities and share impactful sales stories with our customers and to internal stakeholders
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement or new opportunities among your customers, and take action across fulfillment, price optimization, product placement, and more
  • Design and execute promotional plans that drive baseline growth and ROI
  • Maintain customer databases by inputting customer profiles and updates; preparing and distributing monthly reports.
  • Create and send lead-qualifying email outreaches to potential customers and communicate with clients.
  • Organize sales presentations and ensure that all sales presentation materials are prepared prior to deadlines
  • Provides sales vs. projection results by preparing and forwarding sales tracking reports.
  • Drive sales growth by developing strategies to retain and grow existing business clients
  • Uncover and understand the business needs and challenges of the customers, and address these needs via business analysis and the recommended use of US Mobile services
  • Successfully achieve predefined sales and strategic objectives for the business unit
  • Manage sales cycle for new and existing business opportunities via collaboration with internal teams such as client success, analytics, product, sales operations, data governance and partnerships
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, etc. to ensure the best interest of the company
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales and business development at a startup highly preferred
  • Track record of developing and closing high impact deals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Data analysis skills in Tableau and SQL are a big plus
