Primary Responsibilities:

  • Quality automation engineering tasks like software quality assurance or development
  • Testing applications using mainstream technologies (GIT, Cucumber, Azure)
  • Perform Manual and Automated Testing independently and assist/mentor his team members whenever required
  • Adherence to coding standards for Test Automation
  • Communicate effectively with other engineers/ QE and onshore team Support the QE team during testing via defect fixes, code deployment, clarifications
  • Fully encourage and facilitate high quality code through of support QE team efforts including but not limited to mentoring, assistance, and writing/executing automation tests as needed
  • Working with the Deployment Lead, peer developers to complete various project deployment activities
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years as quality engineer following QA processes, methodologies, and testing Automation tools (selenium)
  • 3+ years using API Testing tools (Manual and Automation): SOAPUI and Postman or equivalent building test scenarios and acceptance tests
  • 3+ years Testing applications using mainstream technologies (GIT, Cucumber, Azure)
  • 2+ years developing RESTFUL API automation with JSON or X
  • 2+ years of experience working on SQL Queries
  • Experience working in a CI/CD environment like Jenkins and Azure DevOps for executing automated tests
  • Proficient with developer tools and IDEs, such as Eclipse and git/github for developing on .Net stack
  • Proven solid communication collaboration and influencing skills to drive change
  • Proven ability to adapt to fast-paced work environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate in team environment with developers, testers, and product owners
