As a part of the OptumCare network, Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing team in New Jersey.
Schedule: Pediatric Office 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM 4 days a week (8 hour shift) and 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM 1 day a week (Tuesday) and no weekends
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Room patients, obtain health history, and check vital signs
- Administer injections and collect specimens
- Document patient care using electronic medical record software (Epic)
- Process medication refills, answer calls and complete paperwork as needed
- Assist physicians with minor, in-office procedures

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant certification
- 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience
- Computer literacy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Certified Medical Assistant performing clinical back-office duties including, injections, obtaining vital signs and recording medical history
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Pediatric Experience
New Jersey Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $27.31 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
