We are looking for a seasoned and visionary Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead our high-performing development team based in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for a technology leader with a strong foundation in software development, cloud architecture, and team leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end software delivery, from requirement gathering to deployment, while ensuring alignment with business goals and technical excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership
- Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance applications
- Provide hands-on technical guidance across frontend, API, and database layers
- Champion best practices in software engineering, including code quality, testing, and CI/CD
- Leverage Microsoft Azure services for cloud-native application development and deployment
- Project & Delivery Management
- Own the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for multiple projects
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define project scope and timelines
- Track progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions
- Drive Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Team & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers through coaching and performance management
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular 1:1s, career development planning, and technical upskilling initiatives
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

- Act as a key liaison between engineering and business teams
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans
- Prepare and present technical documentation, project updates, and architecture reviews to leadership
- Ensure clear and proactive communication across all levels of the organization
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role
- Solid hands-on experience in:
- Frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, or similar)
- API development (RESTful services, GraphQL)
- Database systems (SQL/NoSQL)
- Experience with version control systems like Git and repository management practices
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud platform (App Services, Azure Functions, DevOps, etc.)
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Boards)
- Proven track record in application architecture and system design
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate)
- Experience working in a global or distributed team environment
