Health Plan Growth and Marketing Senior Manager - DC Office Hybrid

The UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of DC proudly serves the Dual Eligible Special Needs (D-SNP) population in the District of Columbia and is excited to recruit for our Growth & Marketing leader. This individual reports directly to the Health Plan's Executive Director, manages people and will be responsible for:

If you are located in or near the District of Columbia, you will have the flexibility to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days a week in the office) as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Growth: Define, develop and implement a data-driven, locally-focused membership growth strategy for the DC health plan. This includes areas/skills such as:

    • Strategic thinking and planning, including project management
    • Market research and analysis
    • Sponsorship and budget planning and management
    • Collaboration with national and health plan teams
  • Community Engagement: Thoughtfully collaborate with the community of DC, including developing solid partnerships with DC agencies, providers, enrollee groups and community partners. This includes areas/skills such as:

    • District of Columbia knowledge and understanding
    • Collaboration with external partners
    • solid communication and facilitation skills
    • Problem identification and resolution
    • Event planning
  • Product Marketing: Contribute to developing solid benefits for our products and drive marketing strategy for the DC health plan. This includes areas/skills such as:

    • Product and benefit design and planning
    • Marketing materials review, management and regulator coordination
    • Detail-orientation

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in growth, sales, business development and/or marketing
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, program management and/or event management
  • Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Resides in or near the District of Columbia

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Medicaid and/or D-SNP programs, working in and/or with the District of Columbia government agencies, or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively problem-solve and navigate in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (verbally/written) effectively with different levels of leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented and develop executive-level content or presentations
