About the team:
UKG is looking to hire a Sr Software Engineer to join our EPIC (Engineering, Product, Innovation, Cloud) organization in the GPTW (Great Place to Work) R&D. Our team develops extensible solutions that enhance the delivery of data.
About The Role:
As an engineer in EPIC, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the set of services and applications that make this data flow process possible and do so in a highly collaborative environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Sr. Software Engineer, you'll be embedded on one of our DEIB development team. You will be engaged in feature development focused on integrating sentimental data into an internal product at UKG, in order of enriching and adding value to our solution.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 3-5 years' experience designing and programming in Kotlin or Java
• 3-5 or more years' experience engaging with software/test/leads engineers on enterprise level software development projects.
• 3-5 years' experience with OOP, Data Structures and Algorithms.
• A strong understanding of non-relational database principles.
• Experience with Git as a software repository/version control system.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) solutions.
• Experience with Kubernetes and GCP
• Experience with message queues like RabbitMQ, Kafka
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Proficiency with tools such as Postman, Jira or equivalent
• Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
