About the Team
This role is on UKG's Portfolio Marketing team which includes teams of talent marketers focused on Product Marketing for UKG's solutions, Industry Marketing aligned to our GTM model and Channel Marketing teams. We spend our time working across the business to understand how to best position, message, and activate our services and solutions so we can remain a leading provider who helps organizations plan, engage, schedule and pay their workforce.
About the Role
The Industry Marketing Manager, SMB plays a crucial role in driving growth within our small and mid-size business segments. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional partners to define and execute go-to-market plans, marketing strategies and messaging that support growth goals. The focus will be on establishing UKG's credibility in this segment, working with teams to drive awareness of our solutions, and create differentiated positioning.
Role Responsibilities:
• Execute and align go-to-market strategies and plans for SMB that drive awareness and pipeline growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling marketing materials and programs.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on industry trends, challenges, and solutions by monitoring and analyzing trends to inform targeted, segment-specific marketing strategies.
• Highlight UKG's unique value propositions and partnerships in marketing efforts.
• Craft persona-based messaging that highlight UKG differentiators and customer value (e.g. events, field, sales and BDRs)
• Monitor and analyze industry trends to inform marketing strategies in alignment to the buyer journey.
• Understanding of how to use data and insights to determine performance and effectiveness, and inform strategies that optimize programs and marketing results.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field.
• 8 years of relevant marketing, communication, PR, and/or writing experience.
• 4 years of experience presenting to small and large groups, both virtually and in-person.
Preferred Qualifications:
• In-depth understanding of the small and mid-sized businesses.
• Familiarity with human capital management and workforce management solutions.
• Knowledge of SaaS marketing and sales.

The pay range for this position is $112,300 to $161,400, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
