About you:

UKG is seeking a Lead Field Marketing Manager to support our Enterprise Retail Sales Team by helping to build and execute integrated field campaigns that include in-person events, virtual experiences, direct mail, regional retail tradeshows, and ad-hoc sales requests to create net-new sales opportunities, accelerate opportunities and nurture existing relationships.

The Lead Field Marketing Manager will make an impact by supporting a team of sales executives who are dedicated to selling UKG solutions to retail organizations across the U.S. This position will work closely with other field marketers, the demand gen team, industry marketing team, creative, field services and web teams, and marketing operations to create field marketing programs that align to the retail sales goals and are integrated with other pipeline generating activities. In addition to the day-to-day field marketing activities of this position, this role will also be responsible for mentoring the other field marketers by providing guidance, support, and training.

The right candidate must be a strong communicator, sharer of ideas, strategic thinker, sales-focused, data-driven, effectively own a budget, be creative and work across departments to help drive measurable results within the field marketing team. The field marketing team is responsible for generating a consistent flow of leads for sales sufficient to achieve stated quotas and business goals. The Lead Field Marketing Manager must help drive the use of all available tools and techniques to improve effectiveness and assist in fine tuning the lead generation machine to maximize results.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales leaders to establish marketing priorities aligned to both overall sales objectives and individual team needs
- Build positive, collaborative relationships with Sales, BDRs, Demand Gen Program Managers, Industry and Partner Marketing team members
- Manage, accurately forecast, and reconcile vertical field marketing budgets (create accurate p-card or p.o. processing, contract execution and timely invoice collection)

- Own the data-measure, analyze, and report on field marketing activities to understand the contribution to pipeline and influence, to evaluate marketing effectiveness, sales participation, and return on investment
- Lead all retail field marketing activities end-to-end from planning to execution - ensuring timely follow-up and analyzing and reporting results, including but not limited to:
o In-person events
o Virtual events/webinars
o Regional tradeshows
o Direct mail campaigns
- Utilize repeatable processes for field marketing activities and follow-up by sales; provide effective and timely communications with sales teams about program roll-out, results and ROI
- Communicate field marketing plans with sales and BDRs through participation in team calls, leveraging internal newsletters, and other mechanisms
- Manage relationships with external vendors - including contracts and invoices
- Stay on top of new field marketing tactics/programs and share best practices across the team, as well as industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to adapt field program strategies as needed
- Communicate cross-functionally with Sales Leaders, BDRs, and Business Admins to ensure all Teams have proper reporting, process alignment, and training
- Coaching team members through skills-building sessions (both group meetings and one on ones) on topics such as building and utilizing reporting to manage workflow and best practices for successful program planning

Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Field Marketing experience, ideally supporting a direct sales team in enterprise technology (Virtual/ In person Events, Trade Shows, Webinars)
- Education: BA/BS Marketing preferred
- Proven excellence in developing field marketing programs that are pipeline building and address various buying cycle stages and personas
- Strong Leadership skills and relationship building
- Able to think on their feet and pivot with change
- Salesforce experience as well as Microsoft Apps (Teams, SharePoint, PPT, Excel)
- Detail orientated, organizational skills, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and an ability to work and collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to learn quickly and work at a quick pace with a results driven mentality

The pay range for this position is $112,300 to $161,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
