About the Role
The Courier & Marketplace West team is on a mission to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence across California and the Pacific Northwest. We work on high-impact, data-driven projects tailored to the unique dynamics of each local market-ranging from strategic courier supply initiatives to custom city-specific campaigns. As a Territory Operations Manager, you'll play a critical role in executing local strategy, solving complex problems, and shaping the future of delivery services in the region.
What You'll Do
- Own day-to-day operational performance across multiple cities within the West territory, with a focus on Courier and Marketplace metrics
- Analyze large data sets to identify performance gaps, build strategic plans, and execute initiatives to close them
- Collaborate closely with Strategic Ops, Legal, City Managers, and Policy to ensure execution is both effective and compliant with local regulations
- Localize national or global strategies by designing and launching city-specific campaigns tailored to unique market conditions
- Identify and resolve systemic issues by coordinating with Tech, Support, and Product to implement scalable solutions

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting, or a fast-paced tech environment
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated proficiency in SQL and Excel, and the ability to generate insights from data to drive decision-making
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, manage execution of large initiatives, and adapt quickly in dynamic, ambiguous environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, Excel, and dashboarding platforms like Tableau; Python is a strong plus
- Experience deploying operational strategies or product rollouts in a multi-city environment, with a focus on experimentation and iteration
- Familiarity with regulatory or policy landscapes in California or the Pacific Northwest, particularly in the gig economy or delivery sector
- Background in consulting, tech startups, marketplaces, or retail operations with a track record of handling cross-functional projects in high-ambiguity environments
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$129,000 per year - USD$143,000 per year.
