About the Role

To unlock the next wave of growth in the online food delivery space in Japan. The Strategy & Planning team works together with the Japan operations teams to achieve that ambition through thought partnership, driving business' strategic bets and developing long term strategy

Your Impact in Role

Growth S&P:

To be a strategic thought partner for the growth operations team in Japan, working together to drive our 2024 growth strategy

  • Drive governance and performance management of the pillars of growth including ad hoc deep dives to understand drivers of results
  • Drive holistic platform strategy (ie. Grocery & retail, Rides)
  • Partner with the Head of GrowthOps to run semi-annual planning days

Consumer Insights:

To be the "control tower" of consumer insights (both external and internal) and drive insights into action

  • Take stock of current consumer research/ insights
  • Coordinate internal priorities and map out research needs
  • Work with marketing intelligence and external agencies to execute additional research as necessary
  • Influence stakeholders to drive action on the back of insights identified

Planning :

Role: To work with the S&P team and Japan Delivery Leadership team on planning cycles

  • Run necessary data analysis to provide insights to facilitate decision making
  • Synthesize discussion/ viewpoints and drive alignment across Xfn stakeholders into a well articulated, action biased strategy document
  • Drive long range scenario planning

The Experience You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills - Experience influencing across functions in a matrix organization
  • Ability to work with ambiguity
  • Effective team player
  • Strong communications skills with fluency in English
  • Experience in Strategy or Management consulting is preferred
  • Experience in internet, e-commerce, technology experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of SQL is preferred
