About the Role

Uber Eats is transforming the way people access Retail-bringing convenience, selection, and speed to local commerce. As a Pricing Strategy Lead for Retail in Mexico, you will play a critical role in shaping how pricing influences customer experience, merchant success, and overall business performance.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution. You will lead the design and implementation of data-driven pricing strategies that balance affordability, growth, and profitability. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver pricing solutions that make an impact-on merchants, consumers, and Uber's bottom line.

  • Design and lead pricing strategies for Uber's Retail business in Mexico, aligning with customer needs and business goals
  • Analyze performance and trends, including customer behavior, price sensitivity, and market dynamics, to surface actionable insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Operations, Growth, Commercial, and Strategy teams to operationalize pricing decisions
  • Monitor and adjust prices in real time, responding to merchant feedback, competitive benchmarks, and business performance
  • Build reporting and dashboards that track pricing performance and guide strategic conversations
  • Support cross-functional initiatives that improve merchant economics and consumer engagement through effective pricing

What You'll Need

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into clear pricing strategies that balance short- and long-term impact.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker, along with experience running A/B tests and modeling scenario impacts.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Ops, Growth, and Commercial, and to clearly communicate insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of retail, e-commerce, or mobility industries, and how pricing influences customer behavior, conversion, and profitability.
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with a track record of executing and iterating quickly in fast-paced, evolving environments.
