Our team is responsible for delivering critical information and analyses that drive strategic decisions within Uber Financial Operations. We equip our partners and their stakeholders with timely, accurate, and actionable insights to achieve their objectives. Simply put, while FinOps manages the engine of Finance's operational transactions, FinOps Analytics provides the compass - leveraging Tableau dashboards and analysis to chart our course. We are actively seeking to strengthen our expertise in machine learning and predictive analytics, and that's where your skills become essential

- Own the full lifecycle of operational metrics-from KPI design to dashboard deployment and stakeholder adoption to design metrics that drive accountability, surface inefficiencies, and guide automation
- Utilize predictive modeling techniques to support scenario analysis, helping the FinOps team to understand potential financial outcomes based on various business strategies
- Perform ad hoc analyses and create reports as requested by leadership to support strategic initiatives and decision-making
- Drive automation efforts for reporting, leveraging data science tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of work experience in finance analytics, business analytics, data analytics and or within a similar field
- Experience with Tableau and or similar data visualization tools
- Experience with SQL
- Bachelors Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making
- 3+ years of demonstrable experience in data science, financial analytics, or a similar role with a focus on financial data
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Curious, self-directed, and impact-driven-you chase high-impact problems to deliver solutions.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and switching contexts in a fast-moving environment
About The Team
The FinOps Analytics team, central to Uber's Financial Operations, provides crucial insights across Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Travel & Expense (T&E), and Order-to-Cash (OTC). We partner with Fintech to develop data transformations and publish over 80 Tableau Dashboards. Our work drives strategic metrics, scales operations, and improves working capital and free cash flow through targeted ad-hoc analysis
For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$122,000 per year - USD$135,500 per year.
