About the Team
Community Operations is the heart and soul of our #BuildWithHeart approach at Uber. We work with customers, people earning money on the platform and partners at enormous scale. Community Operations helps operationalise every new and existing product and idea that Uber comes up with - it's an organisation that touches every part of Uber!
About the Role
The position is responsible for investigating customer profiles and categorizing or providing trends and insights on these reports as per Uber standards. This process will include acting as the POC for critical issues within the region. Evaluating customer fraudulent activities to ensure compliance with policies.
The ideal candidate is an organized but creative problem solver passionate about investigation and process improvement. The team member must thrive in an environment that is ambiguous and fast-paced, where the only consistent thing is change. Many of the challenges we face have no textbook solution, so the ability to invent is essential.
Your Impact in Role:
- Investigate customer profiles and find fraudulent trends
- Apply data to conduct root cause analysis and derive relevant insights
- Develop (or have existing) subject matter expertise in the risk, safety & compliance
- Proactively find opportunities to improve workflow and processes
Basic Qualifications
- Proven track record of providing detailed support for fraud issues and being the go-to person for any policy-related concerns
- Strong analytical skills in identifying trends and insights.
- A proven understanding of Google Sheets and Google Slides (G-Suite) is a must, and SQL knowledge is a bonus
- Work in a 24x7 support environment, pro-actively take initiatives/suggest improvements, and work closely with the TL in carrying out investigations
- Be a positive doer and strong Uber culture advocate
- Outstanding verbal and written skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience taking care of different risk, safety & compliance teams and having a good understanding of Fraud is a must
- Experience with Google Suite
