About the Role

To own the Tetris Hiring Project in Japan.

Project Tetris encompasses over 400 EXTs across AE and AM roles in APAC and represents a deliberate shift toward a scalable, performance-driven, internal-first commercial workforce model.

At a high level, the project involves hiring 130 to 160 full-time external employees in Japan and supporting the conversion of 20% of EXTs to full-time roles- resulting in a total of approximately 200 employees over the next 18 months.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for key roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop tailored hiring strategies.
  • Drive pipeline generation through creative sourcing methods and proactive candidate engagement.
  • Manage a seamless candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics to inform hiring decisions and continuously improve performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Native-level Japanese proficiency is a must, as the role focuses heavily on monolingual hiring.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-volume recruiting, with little to no reliance on external agencies.
  • Experience in hiring for business development or sales roles, such as Account Executives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Stakeholder management. Strong ability to influence and partner with senior leaders, providing strategic hiring guidance and building trusted relationships.
  • Strategic, data-informed sourcing. Proven success in designing and executing targeted sourcing strategies using market insights and recruiting metrics to drive quality hires.
