About the Role
Uber's Global TA Programs team is looking for a Vendor Management Program Manager to strategically manage and enhance our approach to talent acquisition vendor partnerships. You'll ensure consistency, scalability, and strategic alignment across all vendor activities-from RFPs and implementations to billing, performance tracking, and optimization.
You will proactively partner cross-functionally within Uber People (e.g., HRIS), Legal, Procurement, Risk Management, and directly with People Product and Engineering teams to drive successful vendor relationships and implementations.
What You'll Do
- Lead structured RFP processes, including requirement gathering, vendor selection, and bid evaluations.
- Partner cross-functionally (Legal, Procurement, Risk Management) to ensure compliance with procurement and onboarding procedures.
- Collaborate closely with TA leaders and broader TA Ops teams to design and execute vendor implementation strategies.
- Establish and maintain centralized processes for invoicing, budget tracking, and vendor spend oversight.
- Develop and implement scalable frameworks for tracking and evaluating vendor performance, ROI, and alignment with TA's strategic vision.
- Analyze vendor performance data to provide actionable insights, recommend targeted improvements, supplementary products, or vendor changes as needed.
- Hold vendors accountable through regular performance reviews, clearly defined KPIs, and consistent engagement.
- Streamline purchasing workflows, reducing redundancies and optimizing spend efficiency.
- Drive measurable efficiencies and cost savings in vendor spend and management, impacting Cost Per Hire (CPH).
- Manage renewal cycles and termination strategies proactively.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience managing vendor relationships, procurement processes, or TA operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, cross-functional programs simultaneously with minimal oversight.
- Experience driving scalable processes and optimizing workflows.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to translate vendor data into strategic decisions.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and influence capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in procurement, accounting, or accounts payable.
- Prior vendor-side experience (client success roles).
- Product management experience.
- Familiarity with HR Tech and TA vendors (LinkedIn, CRM systems, ATS platforms, recruitment agencies, etc.).
- Proven track record aligning diverse stakeholder groups around common objectives and performance metrics.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Passion for improving talent acquisition processes and technologies at Uber.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$114,000 per year - USD$127,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$114,000 per year - USD$127,000 per year.
For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$103,000 per year - USD$114,500 per year.
