About the Role
As a Partner Engineer, you will serve as the technical bridge between Uber and our external partners. Your mission will be to drive technical integrations that enhance user experiences, foster innovation, and enable scalable collaboration. This role combines technical expertise with strategic relationship management and requires a high degree of cross-functional coordination.

Collaborate with strategic partners to integrate Uber's technologies, products, and services into their platforms, ensuring seamless compatibility and performance. - Solution Development:

Provide expert guidance and troubleshoot issues throughout the integration lifecycle. Continuously improve scaled support systems to optimize partner success.
Establish and nurture strong relationships with key technical stakeholders at partner organizations, acting as the primary technical point of contact.
Partner with internal engineering, product, operations, and business development teams to deliver integrated solutions aligned with business objectives.
Collect and relay partner feedback to influence product direction and improve user experience.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, tutorials, and training materials to empower partners and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Stay current with Uber's evolving tech stack and industry trends, serving as a subject matter expert to both internal and external audiences.
Analyze and optimize current workflows. Implement scalable solutions for partner onboarding, support, and engagement.
Create strategies and tools to scale operations and technical support as the partner ecosystem expands.
Basic Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
- 5-10 years in an external-facing technical role
- Deep understanding of APIs and related technologies
- Proficient in SQL and/or other data analysis tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives
- Proven problem-solving ability and a results-oriented mindset
- Hands-on programming or development experience
- Fluent in Chinese and English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project or product management
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with senior executive stakeholders
- Proficiency in Japanese is a plus
