Operations Manager, Rider Incentives

About the Role

We are seeking an individual with strong operational and analytical skills, as well as strategic business acumen. In this role, you will coordinate our Mexico operations and serve as a key teammate in developing allocation strategies to drive growth and operational efficiencies across our rider base. This is a key position that can make a big impact on business and change the way people move in our countries.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Strategic Ownership: Help develop and implement the incentives allocation strategy on the demand side to achieve business growth
  • Business Sense: Monitor, understand, and interpret specific operational and financial metrics and how they translate to the business
  • Problem Solving: Understand risks and opportunities and generate practical recommendations that consider the business context and restrictions of issues
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain productive working relationships with immediate team and cross-functional stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

This role calls for a combination of analytics and the ability to operationalize processes in a fast-paced environment.

  • Data-Driven Mentality: Make strategic decisions based on data analysis and interpretation
  • Communication: Spanish and English proficiency. Able to present ideas in a comprehensive yet succinct manner
  • Advance experience with Excel
  • SQL Advanced Knowledge
  • Stakeholder Management and Teamwork: Ability to work with people from a diverse set of backgrounds and responsibilities
  • Executional Excellence: Ability to adapt to a constantly changing and ambiguous work environment
  • Planning & Organization: Understand project objectives and build short-term plans and timelines for executing against them
  • Basic Financial Understanding: To make trade-offs regarding investments, a basic financial knowledge would give you a head start.
