About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager, Business Process to manage the process for partnership deals and commercial contracts. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in building, standardizing, and governing the end-to-end processes for our critical partnership contracts, with a sharp focus on data validation, monitoring, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance business process, and process optimization, with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset

What You'll Do

  • Lead the charge on operationalising payment process for partnerships- collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure to ensure process integration, efficiency, control and governance
  • Establish and maintain strong governance frameworks for all partnership contract processes, develop process flows
  • Data integrity: Drive critical data validation and reconciliation activities for payments against source data, including rigorous testing of SQL queries for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide hands-on transaction processing support as required, acting as a subject matter expert for process-related queries.
  • Own and manage the entire payment process for partnership-related contracts, overseeing and reviewing all financial components to ensure complete and accurate accounting.
  • Design workflows(process flowcharts), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation to support implementation to integrate the process with existing technology
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with payment processes and contractual obligations, implementing robust controls to safeguard our interests.
  • Develop and implement robust reporting capabilities to provide actionable insights to key stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making including KPIs & metrics
  • Strategic optimization: Analyze current processes and develop a strategic roadmap to improve the holistic process for partnership contracts
  • Apply strong programme management skills to drive projects for process optimization and automation

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance,accounting or a related field
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in Financial operations or accounting with a focus on process design &operational implementation, data validation and reconciliations and reporting
  • Hands on experience with SQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications (CA,CPA,CMA,MBA Finance)
  • Proven experience with Finance operations or accounting as well as business process design or implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of improving payment processes
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
  • Deep understanding of finance processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, forecasting and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Hands on expertise in Advanced excel/Macros, Powerpoint and Gsuite
  • Experience with ORacle R12 or any other large scale ERP
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, risk management & compliance frameworks
  • Experience of working with reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar is a plus

For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$120,000 per year - USD$133,500 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$133,000 per year - USD$148,000 per year.
