The Partner Sales Business Process Analyst (BPA) role sits within the Partner System Operations team and works hand in hand with the Partner, Marketplace and Sales Tech teams while driving the ownership of end to end operational processes that impact our partners and internal teams. BPAs serve as partner operations experts in key subject areas and work as a larger squad to ensure there is alignment in process design and execution that reduces friction moving from one process to another in the partner operating model.

In this role, you have the opportunity to define the most optimal processes and procedures that will inspire our partners to drive the activities that will best serve their customers. You will work hand-in-hand with our Programs And Sales teams to support partner facing processes. Knowledge of quoting platforms and a deep understanding of partner pipeline at the product level will be very helpful as we are looking for teammates with experience in partner quoting and CPQ tools.
You will be expected to develop a solid to understanding of our partner technical stack and engage with various stakeholders including: partner operations, CPQ teams, partner quoting, system developers, and GTM strategists to ensure we are optimizing and building for scalable partner needs.

You will own the operational flows within the processes to jointly identify improvements and changes which aid partners in engaging with customers to drive solution sales to closure with a greater success rate. We are looking for someone who understands the SAAS partnerships model, and has strong experience within the operational processes side of the house.

You will report into our Head of Global Partner Systems Operations in this US based, remote-friendly role.

More about you

We are looking for a senior-level business analyst with a proven track record of process design, documentation and operational analysis expertise that will aid in the success of this role. At Atlassian, you will work with key stakeholders and management in Revenue Operations, Quoting, the Partner organization, Sales Tech, and various additional cross-functional teams to lead the identification of solutions composed of business processes, systems infrastructure and/or shared services execution.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Understand Atlassian's Partner Programs to provide more effective process creation and support of those programs
  • Take the lead in driving projects to completion that include hosting weekly project discovery calls with various stakeholders to identify the business requirements needed, operational support required, develop to-be-workflows that will drive the optimization of processes/systems within the project framework
  • Thrive in an environment that requires a keen eye to identify continual improvements to process, systems, and tools supporting our various channel routes to market
  • Take an active role in recommending innovation and efficiencies through process analysis for your assigned projects
  • Support day-to-day operations of our partner programs and tools, including service desk support for internal and external stakeholders

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Channel or Partner Operations with hands-on experience driving the operational change management needed to manage the roll out of programs or tools within the channel.
  • Experience in transformation of Quote to Cash or CPQ processes is a MUST.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Partner Communities,or other PRM solutions is a MUST.
  • The ability to stay laser focused on requirements gathering, operational workflow documentation, and leading cross-functional project calls for each project where you drive the decision making conversations with multiple cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate the best options to deliver the must-have business requirements.
  • Able to identify assumptions made by business stakeholders about Gaps within the business, and develop work flows to identify as-is and future-state workflow changes needed to execute the business vision.
  • You have a natural talent for solution design with a keen eye on keeping the process simple with scalable options, while delivering key business objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work/influence across organizational and subject matter boundaries, especially between business and IT teams. You also are sufficiently versed in IT to negotiate scope and assess basic levels of efforts required for implementation.
  • An extreme sense of ownership and responsibility. You get $#!t done.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate in larger cross-functional team environments.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $150,300 - $200,400

Zone B: $135,300 - $180,400

Zone C: $124,700 - $166,300

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
