About the Team
Uber Advertising's vision is to offer the most marketplace-centric advertising to connect Uber's platform users (eaters, riders, and earners) with advertisers. Uber Advertising's platform brings together location based and shopping data with closed loop attribution across its mobility and delivery channels for performance and brand campaigns, enabling advertisers to engage with our consumers through the entire marketing funnel - from awareness through purchase to loyalty and advocacy for Uber users.
At Uber, we have set up a new Uber Advertising division to spearhead the growth of its advertising business. By building a dedicated advertising organization and a suite of advertising products, Uber Advertising will enable merchants and brands to reach and convert its highly engaged user base across its Mobility and Delivery platforms in 32 markets.
About the Role
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audience & Technical Solutions Manager to join our dynamic measurement science team. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and executing innovative audience strategies, leveraging technical solutions for data collaboration and driving insightful measurement frameworks for advanced audience tests.
- The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem including identity and data clean rooms, a passion for audiences, data insights, personalization and measurement, and the ability to translate vast data insights into compelling narratives.
- This is an exciting, highly crossfunctional and innovative role interfacing with clients, sellers, partners, analytics, engineers and product teams.
What You'll Do:
- Technical Solutions & Data Collaboration: Become an expert at our various 1P and 3P technical data solutions, including Uber's CDP, data clean rooms and data visualization tools. Build advanced data segmentation and collaboration with clients and partners, including DMPs, CDPs, and other data platforms.
- Targeting Strategy and Measurement Frameworks: Design and implement customized targeting solutions coupled with the proper measurement framework to evaluate audience effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) for strategic clients. Contribute to playbooks and case studies for success stories.
- Audience Insights & Analysis: Conduct in-depth audience analysis to identify opportunities to inform client strategy in advance of meetings
- Data Storytelling & Visualization: Translate numerous audience insights into clear, concise, and actionable storytelling and visualizations for sales, clients and internal stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Clients, Product and Measurement teams to partner on solutions that will drive revenue, innovation and customer satisfaction
- Audience Passion: Showcase a genuine passion for Uber's leading audience datasets and premium surfaces across Mobility and Delivery and become an internal audience expert on our numerous data signals.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years Ads Industry experience at an ad platform, media agency, publisher or data platform
- 3+ years experience in an analytical client facing role preferably within the advertising industry
- Strong technical acumen with proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Snowflake, Looker or similar program
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Advertising Tech or Marketing Tech
- 5+ years experience in an analytical client-facing role preferably within the advertising industry
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working in data management platforms, CDPs, data clean rooms or similar working advertising solutions
- Cross Functional experience with Sales, Clients, Product and Engineering stakeholders
- A passion for data whether it's talking to Sales and Clients about data insights or getting into the weeds with Data Scientists, Analysts and Engineers to build custom audiences or new data solutions
- Deep understanding of Identity solutions (LiveRamp, Epsilon, Experian, etc), Data Cleanrooms (AWS, InfoSum, Snowflake, etc) and Customer Data Platforms (mParticle, Tealium, Segment, etc)
- Familiarity with measurement frameworks including incrementality testing, A/B testing, media mix modeling, brand lift and MTA
- Experience with data integrations or other technical data implementations
- Expertise in SQL, Advanced Excel, and data-driven storytelling.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate seamlessly across non-technical and technical audiences and senior stakeholders
- Team player with a can-do attitude and a deep interest in mobility and delivery data
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$146,000 per year - USD$162,000 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year.
