Ad Operations Specialist

About the Role:

Support Uber's Advertising business by guaranteeing flawless campaign execution and performance for our Premium Finance, Travel and CPG Advertisers. You will work with partners across the globe to propel the business forward by acting as a coordinator for Programmatic and Managed Service campaigns, as well as bridging the gap between current business' needs and the offshore operational team.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with Account Executives, Account Managers, Audience Strategy and Data Analysts to ensure smooth campaign launch and mid-flight optimizations
  • Execute multi-tier campaigns across the Uber Rides and UberEats app
  • Understand Sales pipeline and coordinate the campaign operations across partners and offshore teams to ensure campaigns launch on time and successfully
  • Troubleshoot live campaigns by proactively monitoring them and proposing optimizations to ensure they reach budget utilization and performance indicators
  • Partner with other managers on the global Campaign and Creative Service Operations team to improve SOP's, launch new products and apply change management where needed
  • Collaborate with Measurement and Automation team to drive campaign monitoring and tooling improvements
  • Actively advise on process development, determine roles & responsibilities and provide Operational support to the Programmatic Enablement team
  • Work with Product and Engineering to identify changes to internal Ad systems / tools that reduce the occurrence and impact of bottlenecks affecting delivery scalability, and improve the efficiency and quality of ad campaigns
  • Providing high-level POVs on industry trends and impact to Uber Advertising campaigns
  • Participate in cross-functional team decisions and projects to enhance overarching process, workflow, and growth of Uber Advertising

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in Advertising Operations, Digital Campaign Management, Programmatic Advertising or similar industries
  • 1+ year experience working in a role with exposure to Programmatic Advertising
  • Hands-on experience managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills (data-driven and quantitative skills) with MS Excel and Salesforce proficiency
  • Ability to work cross functionally with Product, Tech and global Ops stakeholders
  • 2+ years of working with various Travel, Finance and CPG advertisers
  • 1+ years of working within GAM (Google Ads Manager)
  • Experience working with a global Ads team, especially in a "start up" environment
  • Proactive self-starter who is adaptable and nimble in Uber's fast-growing advertising business
  • Have a core operational understanding of critical campaign components such as brand safety guidelines, ad viewability, and filtering for suspicious and/or fraudulent media activity

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$95,500 per year - USD$106,250 per year.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
