About the Role
At Uber Eats, our journey in the Grocery & Retail space is just beginning, and we're looking for passionate, results-driven individuals to help us scale it. As an Account Manager Grocery & Retail, you will play a critical role in nurturing and growing our store-level partnerships with emerging retail brands as well as with newly signed partners across France.
You will manage a portfolio of multi-store retail partners (supermarkets, hypermarkets, specialty shops, etc.) and will be responsible for driving their success on the Uber Eats platform. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver quality selection and a seamless experience to customers nationwide.
In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with the Key Account Manager (KAM) of each brand, ensuring that the national strategy is translated effectively at the store level. You'll act as the operational and strategic relay in the field, building strong alignment and consistent execution between national expectations and local realities.

What You Do
- Partner Success Management: Own and grow a portfolio of store-level accounts from emerging retail chains and new partners, ensuring high performance and satisfaction.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze store-level metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement in key areas (selection, availability, pricing, operations), and drive initiatives that improve sales and order experience.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales (Account Executives), Key Account Managers, and Operations to ensure proper implementation of national agreements at store level and to guarantee a seamless onboarding and operational experience.
- Merchant Engagement: Be the day-to-day point of contact for your partner stores, acting as a trusted advisor by providing tailored recommendations, performance insights, and growth strategies.
- Scalable Account Management: Design and implement processes to manage a high volume of stores effectively, while prioritizing support for high-potential partners.
- Growth Initiatives: Identify opportunities to expand the footprint of your partners (e.g. launching new stores, improving activation rates) and collaborate with Sales when acquisition of new stores is needed.
- Strategic Projects: Contribute to the evolution of our Grocery & Retail playbook by sharing learnings, market feedback, and best practices that help shape our go-to-market and partner success strategies.
- Ambassador Role: Represent Uber Eats' mission and brand with enthusiasm and professionalism in all interactions with partner stores.
What You Will Need
- 1-3 years of experience in account management, business development, consulting, or related roles, ideally in FMCG, retail, or a tech-driven environment.
- Retail knowledge or experience working with multi-store or franchise retail models is a plus.
- Strong ability to analyze data and translate insights into concrete actions and growth plans.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in French and English.
- Highly organized and autonomous, capable of managing multiple priorities and partners simultaneously.
- Strong collaboration mindset: you enjoy working cross-functionally with sales, ops, marketing, and product teams.
- Problem-solver: You're resourceful, proactive, and always looking for ways to optimize and scale your approach.
