This role is part of the Uber Direct (Last-Mile Delivery) Commercial team. As an Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of strategic retail partners, strengthening relationships, increasing retention, and driving long-term, sustainable growth.This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your commercial acumen, relationship-building abilities, analytical skills and operational expertise to one of the fastest-growing areas of Uber's business. What You'll Do
- Manage a portfolio of key retail partners using Uber Direct, ensuring excellent partner experiences and continued growth
- Develop account-level action plans to meet performance targets and optimize delivery volume
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, collaborating across Operations, Technical and Leadership teams
- Work closely with Sales to support a smooth handoff from onboarding to full activation
- Align on strategic goals with each merchant and define clear success metrics
- Lead regular business reviews and performance check-ins with key stakeholders
- Conduct in-store visits and engage store managers directly to gather feedback and deepen relationships
- Analyze trip-level data to uncover trends, solve problems, and drive improvements
- Collaborate with Ops teams to enhance courier and merchant interactions across the order lifecycle
- Oversee billing processes, resolving any partner inquiries quickly and accurately
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, commercial operations, or sales in the grocery or retail industries, ideally within last-mile delivery or e-commerce logistics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights from data and take action
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage conflict, and build trust
- Experience presenting performance updates and strategic plans to partners and stakeholders
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and Microsoft Office
- A passion for continuous improvement and delivering excellent partner experiences.
