About the Role
This role sits within the Uber Direct (Last Mile Delivery) Commercial team. As an Account Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of strategic retail partners, helping to deepen relationships, ensure high retention, and drive mutual business growth. Your focus will be on post-sales relationship management-ensuring seamless operations, strong alignment with partners' goals, and long-term success in your assigned portfolio.
What you'll do
- Manage a portfolio of key retail partners using Uber Direct, ensuring high satisfaction and ongoing engagement
- Develop account-level action plans to meet performance targets and maximize monthly trip volume
- Be the main point of contact for partners, engaging with stakeholders across Operations, Marketing, Administration, and Leadership
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth implementation and continuity with partner expectations
- Define long-term partnership goals with each merchant and align on shared success metrics
- Conduct business reviews based on clearly defined KPIs, engaging relevant stakeholders as needed
- Visit stores regularly and engage directly with store managers to collect detailed feedback and insights
- Analyze trip-level performance to identify issues and propose data-driven solutions
- Work closely with Operations to enhance courier experiences and merchant interactions throughout the delivery journey
- Own the billing process and resolve related issues in a timely and accurate manner

What you'll need
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into action
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Spanish and English)
- Strong interpersonal and soft skills, including conflict resolution, adaptability, active listening, and organization
- Ability to build and present clear, data-supported recommendations
- A structured, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
- 2+ years of experience in account management, sales, customer success, or other commercial roles
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and the full Office suite
- Experience in customer-facing roles, including customer service, sales, or data reporting
- Motivation to improve processes and contribute to team efficiency
