Step into the role of PR & Marketing Pathfinder Intern at TransUnion, where you'll be the pivotal bridge between our marketing and PR strategies and the distinct needs of our APAC clients and target audience. In this role, you'll harmonize our overarching marketing vision with localized initiatives, ensuring relevance and impact within the APAC market. Collaborating closely with External Communications Manager, your messaging and strategies will shape the brand voice for TransUnion. You will also be working closely with Marketing Manager, to develop marketing contents to promote B2B and B2C products, while sustain the thought leadership and no.1 CRA position for the APAC markets.

The role will also allow you to access knowledge of other Marketing Team functions, for example, consumer experience team, performance marketing and social media team. While you will also work closely with peers around the globe to safeguard our branding and messaging is persistently communicated across all markets.

Last but not least, you are a master communicator, a strategist with a flair for public relations, and the vital component that unveils TransUnion to the media world and customers, ensuring our brand story is told with impact and authenticity.

What You'll Bring:

Responsibilities
  • Master Degree in Journalism, Communication, Public Relations and Marketing or relevent majors
  • Develop and execute media relations strategies, focusing on building brand awareness, thought leadership and enhancing TransUnion public image.
  • Work across functions, not only limited to Hong Kong & Philippines but also TransUnion International, and understand the end-to-end project implementation.
  • Gain hands-on marketing experience from execution to distribution, not limited to PR, digital, content development, CRM and social media.
  • Support in materials development of press release, briefing documents, videos, digital assets, blogs, case studies, newsletters and corporate presentations.
  • Assist in organizing company events, such as insight sharing events, webinars, customer events, trade shows and expos.
  • Analyze media and digital marketing performance, adapting strategies for continual improvement.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external agencies, ensuring alignment with local and global brand direction.
Conduct researches to provide updates on the market and industry as well as identify opportunities for promotions, business development and growth

Impact You'll Make:
  • Media / PR Comms is always the first channel and last defender of a company. As CDS is officially launching in HK very soon, we are expecting to encounter more media enquiries, consumer enquiries, complaints and unforeseeable distractions. Not to mention, we are also expanding quickly in Philippines and other SEA markets. The new person would allow us to react more timely, precisely, and hence, create better relationships with media, consumers, customers and even regulators.
  • Marketing is also very important part in a sales channel. Facing competitions, we are planning to organize more events for customers, and more content to boost the awareness of our existing and new solutions, as well as solidifying our no.1 thought leader position in the region. The additional asset can help us develop more content (from core credit solutions to fraud, GBA, SME, memberships, and even marketing services) and we can amplify TU's brand awareness to another level, widen the reach to more verticals, and generate more revenues.
  • In the long run, he/she not only can fill up gaps of current marketing process, while providing new functions for example the APAC comms & brand guardian, the external comms experts and play key role in driving marketing content.
