Description

This is a newly enhanced role we're creating in London to support our Vice President responsible for Business Continuity (BC), Disaster Recovery (DR) and Physical Security. The successful candidate will help strengthen and advance Tradeweb's global BCDR program. They will support the development, maintenance, and execution of BC and DR plans, ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies, and enhance organizational resilience across all regions.

The BCDR Manager will facilitate BC planning, coordinate DR testing exercises (including participation in industry-wide events such as SIFMA), conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), validate BC plan effectiveness, perform scenario planning, assess risk, and support the development of risk mitigation strategies.

In addition to managing resilience-related planning and testing, this dual-hatted role will also support the physical security infrastructure across Tradeweb's offices, including access control, CCTV monitoring, vendor coordination, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards. The ideal candidate has a strong risk and resilience background, is technically and operationally adept, and demonstrates an ability to coordinate with stakeholders across business, technology, and facilities domains.

The ideal candidate has strong business experience in the financial services industry, is knowledgeable in BCDR best practices, and can confidently engage with both internal and external stakeholders to represent the firm's resilience capabilities.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Facilitate the development and implementation of business continuity plans across departments.
  • Coordinate BC and DR testing activities, including participation in SIFMA's industry-wide DR events.
  • Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical functions and recovery requirements.
  • Lead scenario-based tabletop exercises to validate BC plan effectiveness.
  • Maintain, review, and update policies, procedures, and standards to reflect organizational changes.
  • Partner with Enterprise Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit on BCDR requirements and assurance efforts.
  • Develop and report on BCDR metrics and program maturity indicators.
  • Assess BCDR risks and support development of mitigation strategies.
  • Provide operational support for badge issuance, revocation, and contractor access management.
  • Oversee access control systems and support entitlement reviews to ensure alignment with least privilege principles.
  • Support the escalation of physical incidents in accordance with protocols.
  • Support monthly incident and surveillance reviews and reporting.
  • Assist in conducting physical security audits and reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, internal standards, and other regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in BCDR.
  • Experience with business process analysis and IT systems supporting continuity and security.
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with security management platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated understanding of risk management, internal controls, and IT governance.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of electronic trading applications and business processes
  • Experience of SIFMA DR testing
  • ISO22301, CISSP, or CISM qualifications
  • Understanding of security frameworks such as ISO and NIST
  • Understanding of operational residency standards and regulations
  • Knowledge of physical security tools (e.g., Genetec, Lenel, HID) and best practices in vendor security management.
  • Physical security operations, or related roles
