Group Details

Tradeweb is seeking a proactive and analytically strong Vice President to join the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team in New York. This role sits within the Second Line of Defense (2LoD) and is responsible for leading key components of the firm's ERM program, including control testing oversight, regulatory risk assessments, risk metric development, and governance reporting.

The role reports into the Global Head of ERM and maintains dotted-line accountability to the US-based ERM Lead and the UK-based Enterprise Controls Assurance (ECA) Lead, ensuring alignment with global program strategy and regional testing execution. The ideal candidate will bring executional rigor, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of enterprise-level risk practices to help advance Tradeweb's risk maturity and regulatory alignment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of independent 2LoD control testing to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key risk controls across business units and infrastructure functions.
  • Oversee the maintenance and quality assurance of Risk and Control Matrices (RACMs) related to critical regulatory frameworks such as Reg SCI, DORA, and U.S. regulatory obligations.
  • Drive the development and implementation of risk metrics and indicators (KRIs/KPIs) to monitor risk appetite adherence, identify trends, and support early warning capabilities.
  • Provide assurance and validation on first-line risk assessments, including methodology alignment, control coverage adequacy, and issue tracking accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed testing results, evidence, and outcomes in Archer GRC, ensuring consistency with internal policies and audit standards.
  • Collaborate with 1LoD functions (e.g., Cybersecurity, Operational Risk, and business units) to review control frameworks and advise on improvements based on test outcomes and risk findings.
  • Develop and produce data-driven dashboards and risk reporting materials using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel, for use in senior management and Board-level governance forums.
  • Coordinate with the UK-based ECA Lead to support global control testing consistency and cross-regional insights.
  • Support the US ERM Lead in the delivery of regionally aligned risk metrics, regulatory reviews, and integrated reporting initiatives.
  • Contribute to global ERM initiatives, sharing insights across regions and aligning local execution with the global ERM program strategy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in enterprise risk, internal audit, or operational risk management within a regulated financial service or FinTech environment.
  • Deep understanding of control testing frameworks, risk assurance methodologies, and regulatory expectations under Reg SCI, DORA, and other supervisory regimes.
  • Advanced proficiency with GRC systems (preferably Archer) and experience managing risk data lifecycle activities.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, with working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and Excel-based dashboarding.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions, challenge constructively, and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and documentation skills, with an ability to translate technical findings into actionable business insights.
  • Consistently delivers high-quality, timely work with attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CRISC, CIA, FRM, or CISA) are preferred.

Additional Information

This is a high-visibility role within a global ERM function, offering the opportunity to directly influence risk transparency and control assurance outcomes across Tradeweb's operations.
