Toyota's Accounting & Finance Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst of Benefits.

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the financial budget and forecast for North America Team Member Benefits costs, including health insurance, 401k, and pension, in partnership with HR Benefits and Benefits Accounting teams.

Based at our North America Headquarters in Plano, Texas and reporting to the Finance Manager, Labor Cost Analysis, the person in this role will deliver insightful variance analysis & reporting, enhance current planning methodologies, and drive broader visibility into Team Member benefit costs.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead comprehensive financial benefits forecasting: manage quarterly and annual budgeting processes, consolidate financial data, and ensure alignment with account practices and HR Benefits assumptions for accurate projections.
  • Create Monthly and Quarterly Detailed Financial Reporting of Team Member benefits utilizing data visualization and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau to support HR Benefits Group Manager
  • Enhance current health insurance budget and forecast methodology to deliver accurate and comprehensive financials to key stakeholders
  • Deliver insightful monthly/quarterly financial reporting to Finance Management through data visualizations and PowerPoint presentations including variance analysis and executive high-level summaries and narratives
  • Book monthly and/or quarterly benefit reclasses and accruals on request

What you bring

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Similar field.
  • Progressive finance or accounting related roles experience.
  • High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Financial ERP Systems
  • Strong analytics skills and ability to disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to details and accuracy

Added bonus if you have

  • MBA and/or CPA
  • Power BI or Tableau Experience highly preferred
  • Benefits Accounting Experience
  • Cost Accounting Experience
