JOB SUMMARY
In this role you will lead Enterprise Architecture supporting a team of architects and senior engineers at Tory Burch. You will help deliver business outcomes by linking business strategy and technology investments and providing a clear path to execution that will ensure system sustainability, flexibility, and growth. This group drives value for the enterprise by managing complexity, assessing risk and change, navigating ambiguity, and balancing cost with the desired level of business performance. This position sets the future direction of this discipline by leading the design of complex, enterprise-wide and cross-discipline functions, or processes. In addition, the ideal candidate must possess a high degree of collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at many levels. A sense of humor is a plus!

JOB DESCRIPTION
The typical day is... atypical. You might be driving key architectural decisions across the enterprise, responsible for developing and maintaining engineering standards, driving/influencing Technology strategies, influencing others to achieve outcomes even when outside of your direct scope, developing prototype/proof-of-concepts, creating reference architectures, developing others, helping deliver business initiatives within direct scope & extended teams across technology. The consistent thread is that you'll be working with an amazing team of women and men who share your passion for excellence
To Land This Role:
- 10+ years of experience leading architecture and engineering teams. 3+ years of experience as leader of leaders
- Experience defining solution architectures and designs at the enterprise level
- Deep expertise in Cloud Computing preferable GCP/Azure
- Deep expertise with Distributed Systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong DevOps skills
- Hands on experience with at least one programming language e.g., Java
- Experience with Streaming such as Kafka, Apache Flink or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline
- Experience building large scale microservices
- Ability to roll up their sleeves and actively participating in resolution of critical production outages
