JOB SUMMARY
JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBLILITY
- Work with Suppliers and Vendors for the swatches provided
- Assist to work on the Proto / SMS material deliver schedule
- Maintaining an up to date materials library for all the sourced articles and price detailed sheet by the material type
- Manage the material data in the PLM system
- Prepare proto material swatches and boards for presentation to Design Team when they are in China
- Assist and follow up seasonal material test when required
- Participate in different projects to best assist teams with materials needs
EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- 1-3 years of experience in footwear material development or sourcing is preferred
- Fresh graduate with strong interest in raw materials and eager to develop within footwear industry are welcome
- Detailed mind and responsible attitude
- Good written and verbal communication skills and good team player
- Strong mathematics and problem solving skills
- Able to prioritize and work under pressures and tight deadlines
