At TOMS, we take our Mission of Using Business to Improve Lives seriously, and we hope that you will too. The TOMS Creative Team is an in-house agency providing design, communication, editorial, photographic, and video content, as well as stewardship of the visual identity of the TOMS Brand.

The Digital/Print Designer is an integral part of the Creative Team in supporting Retail, Merchandising, eCommerce, and Marketing goals. This designer thinks conceptually and designs thoughtfully. They are a strong communicator, an eager collaborator, and a natural problem-solver. They can balance channel feedback with their own expertise to create work that meets marketing goals while maintaining the brand aesthetic. They stay ahead of deadlines and up-to-date on trends.

Essential Responsibilities


  • Create and oversee the development of a range of branded materials, including: Emails, Digital Banners, Web Pages, Workbooks, Retail Windows, Retail Signage, Trade Show Booth Materials, Ads, Print Pieces, and Packaging Materials

  • Design creative and execute production files that are detailed, to scale, and production-ready

  • Help develop seasonal campaign concepts with Art Director and Copywriter

  • Ensure consistency of the TOMS brand aesthetic

  • Keep project goals at the forefront of design work

  • Work well under pressure of tight deadlines and changing demands

  • Continue to evolve and develop skills and technique through research of current trends

  • Evaluate policies and processes and offer ideas for improvement


Work Experience

  • 3+ years relevant experience in a marketing, advertising, and/or design environment, or equivalent educational experience

  • Expert experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Sketch required

  • Expert knowledge in the principles of design (alignment, proximity, visual hierarchy, negative space, repetition, contrast, balance, typography, and color) and current trends

  • A confident, informed point of view on design

  • Impeccable written, verbal, and visual communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

  • Experience giving and receiving feedback to partners in and outside of the creative department

  • Ability to distill and present information cross-functionally


Skills & Qualifications

  • A passion for art and design

  • Demonstrated leadership among creative peers

  • Exp erience working for a Lifestyle, Beauty, or Fashion company, with particular interest in Impact-driven brands

  • Strong organizational skills and high degree of comfort in Production

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch software

  • Experience with 3-D rendering software preferred

  • Efficiency in retouching and creating GIFs
