The success of TikTok's data business model hinges on the supply of a large volume of high quality labeled data that will grow exponentially as our business scales up. However, the current cost of data labeling is excessively high. The Data Solutions team is built to understand data strategically at scale for all Global Business Solution (GBS) business needs. Data Solutions Team uses quantitative and qualitative data to guide and uncover insights, turning our findings into real products to power exponential growth. Data Solutions Team responsibility includes infrastructure construction, recognition capabilities management, global labeling delivery management.
About the Role
User Segment Analyst acts as a critical bridge between project stakeholders and crowdsourced contributors. This role involves closely partnering with Business Partners and Project Managers to deeply understand the labeling needs and quality standards for each business unit. The analyst will be responsible for evaluating new and ongoing project suitability, identifying potential execution risks or bottlenecks, and proposing creative, data-driven solutions to maximize output and utilization rates. User Segment Analyst will also own the end-to-end lifecycle of crowdsourcer management including targeted recruitment marketing strategies, structured onboarding, task assignment, and performance tracking to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

Responsibilities
1. Recruitment Strategies - Develop and implement marketing strategies to recruit talented crowdsourcers to ensure a diverse pool of candidates;
2. Onboarding - Lead the onboarding process for new crowdsourcers, ensuring they understand project expectations, workflows, and tools;
3. Delivery - Source, manage and track the delivery of labelling tasks, ensuring crowdsourcers meet project deadlines and quality standards;
4. Crowdsourcer support - Offer ongoing support to crowdsourcers, addressing any questions, concerns, or technical issues;
5. Performance improvement - Track the performance of crowdsourcers and collaborate with project managers to improve task specifications and optimize workflows.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. 1-3 years of experience in mass hiring, or talent attraction strategies, with a focus on marketing roles to targeted talent pools (ie: crowdsourcers);
2. Strong analytical skills, aptitude to independently learn new technologies;
3. Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
1. Excellent problem-solving, task prioritization, follow-up, and eager learner;
2. Project coordination/ project support experience and cross-department communication skills;
3. Ability to use basic SQL and scripting languages (Python, R) are preferred;
4. Good information analysis, data deep dive and interpretation capability.
