Responsibilities
The Business Planning & Operations team take a strategic approach to driving impact cross-functionally across TikTok. They work with multiple business units and senior stakeholders driving forward business growth and operational efficiency by providing significant business diagnosis and practical solutions through the use of analytical insights.
This is a unique role, combining both strategy and execution. Helping support TikTok Shop start-up growth in newly launched European markets. We are seeking a Shop Ads Strategy Manager to help drive growth of closed-loop Shoppable Advertising (Shop Ads) on TikTok Shop in EU markets and the UK. Based in London. This motivated, highly analytical individual will work crossfunctional with colleagues from Sales teams, Account managers, Product teams and other functions. Strong preference for those with experience in top-tier strategy consulting firms. Digital and programmatic advertising experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Develop go-to-market strategies to drive adoption of Shop Ads in several start-up European markets for TikTok Shop by identifying key opportunity areas, and partnering with cross-functional teams to execute.
- Analyse overall performance and strategic opportunities to identify potential gaps/opportunities to scale ads spend after launch.
- Build initiatives to help grow Shop Ads revenue with Sales and Product teams, and help drive these initiatives to completion.
- Develop and execute TikTok Shop Ads incentives frameworks to activate new advertisers and grow average revenue per advertiser for existing merchants.
- Learn to become a Shop Ads expert to help merchants deploy best practices and overcome pain points.
- Determine, develop and cascade quarterly target setting for new start-up markets.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 3+ years of strategic and analytical experience leading management consulting firm, and/or tech/ecommerce companies.
- Good understanding of eCommerce or Digital advertising markets.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities. Strong numerical reasoning and modelling skills with proficiency in Excel and/or more advanced data science tools.
- Strong ownership and self-started mentality and desire to work closely with business teams - take proactive initiative to identify business challenges, analyze problems, and autonomously develop and implement innovative solutions; demonstrate motivated self-starter attitude focused on continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in programmatic marketing, and working with digital advertising.
- Background working in a consumer focused environment e.g Commerce, Retail, FMCG, Social Media & content-led, Technology, Entertainment.
- Work experience with Product teams, PMs, Engineers, other technology colleagues.
- Outstanding skills in working with, and influencing numerous stakeholder groups, including senior ones.
