Description
E-commerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules, and systems to ensure quality. In this role you will be part of the leadership group for Ecommerce's Governance team and be a regional leader for our risk control data analytic team. You will lead a team responsible for delivering insights, defining metrics that inform our fraud management strategies and evaluate trade-offs between risk and customer experience.
Roles & Responsibilties:
- Own and drive the anti-fraud data analytic team strategy and OKR
- Lead, build and retain a team of high performing Data Analyst
- Mentor and guide the team to solve complex analytical problems in the space of risk and fraud management
- Anticipate risk and understand the trends of fraudulent activities in each market and build intelligence systems to mitigate it
- Utilize analytics to optimize existing fraud strategies, in order to improve precision and increase fraud detection rates
- Collaborate, and influence effectively across the business to ensure business lines, product development, and business partners are considering fraud implications
- Lead large scale and complex analytic projects in a cross functional team environment, prioritize tasks, and translate business requirements into strategies
- Define and drive the standardization of key performance metrics and build detailed reporting models for effective tracking, reporting, and feedback on measures implemented
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of data related experience in one of the following areas: Antifraud, Risk Management, Trust & Safety, eCommerce or Tech industry in general;
- Bachelor's degree or above with a background in Computer Science, Business Analytic, Math, Statistics, or related field;
- At least 3 years of experience in a people management role;
- Data driven with strong analytical ability to develop clear insights;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively liaise with people at all levels;
- Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills; able to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Experience with SQL and analytical tools (SAS, R, Python) is a must;
- Experience with AI and machine learning is a plus;
- Proficiency in English is required; any second language proficiency is highly preferred but not required.

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $167960 - $331360 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
