About the Team
Ecommerce's Governance and Experience(GNE) is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules, and systems to ensure quality.
Roles & Responsibilties:
- Apply investigational and analytic skills to monitor, audit, and analyze potential fraudulent cases and consolidate anti-fraud rules.
- Design processes and build effective workflows to define characteristics of different fraud types, capture new risk types, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements of existing tools, processes, and models related to fraud management.
- Define key performance metrics and build detailed reporting models for effective tracking, reporting, and feedback on measures implemented.
- Describe the situation of business, explain the fluctuations of business and provide valuable suggestions with reports.
- Research governance and experience related policies and build effective enforcement processes to prevent and penalize bad actors while balancing user experiences.
- Work closely with operations and product managers, and drive project execution and iteration by clear problem scoping and design.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in one of the following areas: Antifraud, Risk Management, Trust & Safety, Data Analytic, Data Science, Strategy in eCommerce or Tech industry in general.
- Bachelor's degree or above with a background in Computer Science, Business Analytic, Math, Statistics, or related field.
- Strong data analysis and correlation skills with ability to work through complex and unfamiliar data sets and able to derive the characteristics of different scenarios.
- Experience with SQL and analytical tools (SAS, R, Python).
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable in a matrix organization and to drive cross-functional and cross-regional collaborations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively liaise with people at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data.
- Experience with AI and machine learning is a plus.
- Past experience working in SEA or EU market.
