The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated. We're currently seeking a Procurement Manager to join our logistics procurement team, responsible for logistics service procurement in Europe
Ideal candidates should have a strategic mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and a track record of driving cost reductions while maintaining high service standards.
Responsibilities
- Gain in-depth understanding of the local e-commerce logistics market, identify market resources, regularly publish research on service providers, and continuously expand the pool of e-commerce logistics suppliers.
- Manage e-commerce logistics tender projects, acting as the lead for organizing supplier sourcing and negotiations, and taking responsibility for the tender outcomes.
- Manage the procurement via bidding process, introduce high-quality local logistics providers in Europe to continuously enhance the competitiveness of platform logistics offerings.

- Organize annual price negotiations with service providers, develop cooperation strategies with the business team, and manage relationships with logistics service providers.
- Acquire and continuously improve high-quality e-commerce logistics services through proactive and effective collaboration and negotiation strategies, ensuring the platform's logistics competitiveness.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above, with more than 5 years of relevant experience in procurement via bidding and management of warehouse, distribution and quality inspection service providers in e-commerce platform enterprises;
- Familiarity with brand or platform e-commerce logistics operations, with an in-depth understanding of the European e-commerce logistics market.
- Ability to design procurement strategies based on a solid grasp of e-commerce logistics solutions.
- Strong sourcing capabilities in the assigned markets, with proven experience in securing optimal market resources through commercial negotiations.
- Close collaboration with logistics operations teams to continuously enhance platform logistics competitiveness.
- Accountability for cost-saving results in procurement and overall logistics efficiency.

- Data-centric with strong analytical skills: capable of building models to identify trends, use historical learnings for future planning, and assess and mitigate risks using data-driven decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills: capable of identifying, assessing, writing and discussing risks with recommendations for improvement with the intention of solution design and delivering results.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external contractors to set clear expectations, align project priorities and milestones, drive accountability for metric and ops KPI's.
- Strong change management skills: Capable of processing requests, adapting processes, handling timelines and building supporting mechanisms for change.
