About the team
This role sits within the EMEA E-Commerce Governance and Experience team. This team is responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user experience and work on policies, rules, products and systems to ensure quality.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with key stakeholders to consult on key performance measurement questions and optimize overall adoption of metrics and insights to drive measurable and attributable growth.
- Develop comprehensive governance and experience metrics and quantitative measurement structure based on stage of business and strategic deliverables.
- Work with the Program and Strategy teams to size the potential impact of "problems-to-solve" for our business.
- Implement standardized product reports and self service tools and training to serve ad hoc queries and data related projects.
- Design and implement reporting dashboards and the associated data pipeline to deliver insights and improve the workflows of internal teams.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data science, algorithmic engineering, or machine learning.
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Science, Operations Research, Data or Analytics related fields (or relevant experience).
- Proficiency in SQL (Required) and familiarity with at least one other language Python, SAS, R (Preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership and self-direction. Willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques.
- Ability to conduct rigorous analysis and communicate conclusions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to impact business decisions and suggest improvement through analytical insight.
- Cross cultural communication and collaboration skills working cross functionally in a global working environment.
- Comfort working in a fast paced, ambiguous and high growth environment.
